Some sounds arrive without ears. They move through the body as pressure, as cold, as the sudden certainty that something nearby is watching. In Đurović’s small canvas, a horned beast leans close to a woman’s ear, whispering what the night has been trying to say for centuries.
Above them, a pale moon hangs inside its own circle, crowded with stars. A dark star burns in the corner. The figures are drawn in fine, patient lines—fur, horn, feather, skin—all rendered in the same quiet grey.
This is the scream heard from the inside: the moment before the voice finds its shape, when fear and beauty share the same throat.
