Night keeps its own angels. They arrive dressed in green and violet, standing at thresholds that lead nowhere and everywhere at once. This one holds a pale serpent in her hand, coiled like a question she has carried since the beginning of the world.
Behind her, a sphere of blue light hovers—moon, egg, or memory of a sun that never rose. The darkness around her breathes with small bright particles, as if the night itself had begun to bloom.
Đurović paints the angel as a guardian of the interval: the hour between waking and sleeping, the space between the known and the imagined, the silence in which something ancient keeps watch.
