The sun arrives quietly, held between two hands that have learned to carry light the way other hands carry water. In Đurović’s drawing, the world gathers around that small bright disc—a ram with curling horns, a woman with stars woven into her hair, creatures rising from the sea as if summoned by the warmth.
Above, the moon keeps its own counsel. Below, the waves break against dark stone. Everything here is drawn in fine silver lines, patient as breath, precise as prayer.
This is the moment when the sun becomes something a person can hold—and the hands become something the sun can finally trust.
