Some angels arrive in blue. They come without announcement, wings shaped like water, standing at the edge of a darkness that has always been there and always will be. In Đurović’s tall canvas, the blue angel holds her hands to her chest, patient as a tide, her gaze turned toward something the viewer can feel but never see.
Below her, shells rest on pale paper—spirals, horns, the quiet architecture of the sea. They wait there like memories that have learned to keep still.
This is the angel as keeper of thresholds: the one who stands between the deep and the light, between the shell and the wing, between the silence and the song.
