Spring arrives first as a texture. It gathers on the surface of things—a fine white bloom spreading across dark ground, patient as frost, warm as breath. In Spring, Željko Đurović lets a face emerge from that bloom, watching, listening, waiting for the season to finish becoming itself.
A hand rises, holding a branch that has not yet decided whether it is thorn, feather, or something older. The circle above her head glows faintly, a halo made of weather rather than light.
