Every space is conquered twice—once by the body, and once by the dream that refuses to leave it. In Đurović’s canvas, rooms open into rooms, and each one holds a different version of the same story. A woman with horns stands beside a figure with the head of a bird. A spiral turns into a tree, a branch turns into a hand, a hand turns into something that has no name in any language.
On the right, figures climb a staircase that leads nowhere and everywhere at once.
This is the architecture of the imagination: a house built from thresholds, where every door is both an entrance and an exit.
